Step 1 – Submit an Application

Complete our Host Family Application form.

Step 2 – Home Interview

We'll arrange a home visit (or virtual interview, when appropriate) to learn more about your family and answer your questions.

Step 3 – Background Screening

Adult household members are required to complete a police vulnerable sector check and provide references.

Step 4 – Home Approval

Once approved, your family becomes eligible for student placements.

Step 5 – Student Matching

We'll contact you with a student whose profile is a good match for your household.

Step 6 – Welcome Your Student

Prepare your home, meet your student, and begin an exciting cultural exchange experience.
